If working with distillers and cellar masters for over 30 years has taught me anything, it’s that age isn’t everything! Three decades of blending spirits has brought me to this moment. We’ve arrived at Tennessee Straight Whiskey. We’ve arrived at Daddy Rack.

I love the purity and flavor nuances of young spirits. In Daddy Rack Tennessee Straight Whiskey some of my barrel choices for each batch are as young as three years from the date it left the still. We’ve taken every element into consideration to preserve the fundamental soul of our Tennessee whiskey: the choice of grade 1 locally-farmed corn, the sour mash fermentation and the lightly rectified copper double distillation.

Daddy Rack barrels are selected from specific locations in the Rackhouses. We look for barrels that have acquired a natural rich golden color, vanilla tones from the Oak, and highlight the elegant flavor of good congeners that are flourishing, ultimately growing an individual whiskey of great character and maturity. Each small batch bottling comes from just 20 barrels, blended using my secret recipe. I look for a wide palette of flavors to make Daddy Rack Straight Tennessee Whiskey.

As Straight Whiskey, no colouring, caramel or anything will ever be added. Before resting and bottling, each batch of Daddy Rack Tennessee Straight Whiskey goes through a second lighter Maple Charcoal filtration to add a final smoothness. Every bottle is then Batch Coded with my signature, J.Arthur Rackham, Master Maker, and proudly joins the world famous Tennessee whiskey community.
